What this policy covers

This policy explains what information B&K Compton Spray Foam Insulation collects through this website, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers every page of the site, from our home page to each service and city page.

We're a local insulation contractor in Compton, CA, and we keep this short and plain because you should be able to read it in a few minutes. You can learn more about us on our About page.

Information you give us

When you fill out the form on our Contact page, you give us what you type in. That's usually your name, phone number, email, address or ZIP code, and a few words about your house and the job, such as a hot upstairs room or a drafty attic.

Our contact form runs on an outside form service, so what you enter passes through that service before it reaches us. That service handles your entry under its own privacy terms.

If you call us at (562) 232-8636 or email us, we keep what you tell us so we can answer your question and set up your estimate.

Analytics and cookies

Like most websites, ours collects some information on its own when you visit. That can include your browser and device type, the pages you look at, how you found the site and a general location based on your internet connection.

We use analytics tools and cookies, which are small files your browser stores, so we can see which pages people read and fix the ones that don't help. This information is counted in totals, and we don't use it to figure out who you are.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, though some features, like remembering what you typed in a form, may not.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to call or write you back, schedule an estimate, do the work and follow up on it. We also use it to keep records of jobs and to answer questions about work we've done at your house.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't send you marketing you didn't ask for. If we ever want to add you to a mailing list, we'll ask first.

Who else sees it

We share your information only with the people and services that help us run the business, such as the form service, our phone and email providers, and the site's analytics and hosting. They get what they need to do that job and nothing more.

We'll also share information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect our business, our crew or our customers.

How long we keep it

If you ask about a job and we don't end up doing it, we keep your message only as long as it's useful for following up, then we delete it. If we do the work, we keep your contact details and job records as long as we need them for the job, any follow-up and our business and tax records.

Analytics data is kept by the analytics tools for their own set periods and is used in totals, not to track you.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Because we're in California, California residents may have added rights under state law, including the right to know what we collect and the right to say no to its sale, which we don't do anyway.

To make a request, reach us through the Contact page or call (562) 232-8636. We may need to confirm it's really you before we change or delete anything, and we won't treat you differently for asking.

Children's information

This site is meant for adults arranging work on their homes, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, let us know and we'll delete it.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us, and we limit who on our team can see it. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive details through the form.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, and it applies from the day it's posted.

How to raise a privacy concern

If something about how we handle your information doesn't sit right with you, tell us and we'll look into it. Use the form on our Contact page or call (562) 232-8636, Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 11 PM or weekends from 8 AM to 9 PM.

We'll get back to you, explain what we have and what we've done with it, and fix anything that's wrong.
